61: Hanging Out at LDT

Day 61: Taken this past weekend when Chris and I backpacked into the Black Elk Wilderness in the Black Hills of South Dakota. There was quite a bit of snow around still, especially on the northern slopes of Harney! This was taken atop Little Devil's Tower, looking towards Cathedral Spires (right). Believe it or not, some people were actually climbing those and hanging out on the summit! I'll sit close to the edge of something relatively safe like this, but I don't think I'd ever start scaling vertical rock faces
