3: Convective Conception

This wasn't completely intentional, but I've sort of kicked off this project with a short series of personal realizations in regards to my photography. You can thank the boring weather for that, though I promise some new shots will work into the mix soon I've already mentioned how important DeviantArt was in providing the means through which I've met many important people in my life. One of those is my fianceé. The other is Chris Allington. The last image I shared was from Chris and I's first photo outing. This image is the first shot I took under the base of our first storm on my first-ever storm chase (May 10 2010, Oklahoma). And that is where things begin to branch out. On this chase, I met Tyler Burg, who was actually present when I proposed to Sarah in Colorado. Things come full circle! And hanging out with Chris and Tyler led to me meeting Mike Hollingshead, which led to a slightly-obsessive accumulation of knowledge about weather. It's just mind-boggling to step back and think about how different my life might be had I never signed up to start sharing photos on here in the first place...
